Meet Our Pastry Chef, Cynthia – Founder & Pastry Chef
Cynthia's baking journey began long before The Clever Bakery opened its doors.
At just 12 years old, she discovered her love for baking while spending time in the kitchen with her grandmother and mother. Those cherished moments sparked a lifelong passion for creating desserts that bring people together. Completely self-taught, Cynthia spent years perfecting her craft through dedication, creativity, and countless hours of practice. Her father encouraged her entrepreneurial spirit and helped transform a childhood passion into a business dream. In 2020, with the unwavering support of her husband, that dream became reality when The Clever Bakery was born. Today, Cynthia brings more than a decade of professional baking experience to every custom cake, wedding dessert, and handcrafted treat. Her mission is simple: create desserts that are as unforgettable in flavor as they are in design while serving families throughout Miami, Broward, Palm Beach, and all of South Florida.
